Professional Terms

Draft for legal review, October 7, 2026. Not yet in force.

Effective [date]. These terms apply when you set up a calendar page, in addition to the Terms of Use. You agree to them before your page goes live, and again when they change.

1. Your page, and the public listing.

  • Your page is at mycalendar.ph/your-username. Once live, your display name, photo, profession, city and description are public, and your name, photo, profession and city appear in the site's search and in search engines. There is no opt-out while your page is live.
  • Once your page is live, its username can't be changed by you. Our team can change it on request. The old username is never given to anyone else, and by default its link sends visitors to your new one.
  • You may pause your page at any time. A paused page is off the site and out of search and takes no new bookings; bookings already paid for go ahead, and clients holding a rebooking credit can still use it.

2. You are responsible for your services. You confirm that you are entitled to practise your profession and to offer the services on your page, that your page is accurate, and that you will follow the laws and professional rules that apply to you. MyCalendar.ph does not provide, supervise or verify your services or credentials.

3. Lawyers. If you declare yourself a Lawyer and give your Roll of Attorneys number and current MCLE compliance number, the lawyer service-fee rate applies as soon as both are on file. We do not verify them. Our team may view them, and may revoke the lawyer rate.

4. Collecting agent, and receipts. VHC Website Hosting Services collects clients' payments on your behalf as your collecting agent. You are the seller of your service. You issue the official receipt for your professional fee when a client asks for one; we issue a receipt only for our service fee.

[Draft note: whether withholding applies to payouts when the site is only a collecting agent is open (SPEC section 19).]

5. Prices and fees.

  • You set your price. You receive it in full.
  • The service fee is added on top and paid by the client: ₱100 or 10% of your price, whichever is higher; a flat ₱100 if the lawyer rate applies. The payment processing fee is also paid by the client.
  • You may set a repeat-client discount, from 0 to 100%. It applies automatically when a client books you again after an earlier appointment with you has taken place. Your fee on that booking is your price less the discount; our service fee is reduced by the same percentage, but never by more than half.
  • Each booking keeps the price, discount and fees in force when it was paid.

Example: at a ₱1,000 price, the client pays ₱1,100 plus the processing fee, and you receive ₱1,000. With a 20% returning-client discount, the client pays ₱880 plus the processing fee, and you receive ₱800.

[Draft note: whether the service fee is VAT-inclusive is open (SPEC section 19).]

6. Your calendar and your clients.

  • You keep your schedule, prices, meeting link, office address and arrival instructions accurate. Clients receive the meeting link, or the address and instructions, 8 hours before each booking; arrival-window clients also see the address from payment.
  • You receive each client's name, email address, mobile number and booking details, and for an arrival window, the queue list. Use them only to deliver and arrange the booked service, keep them secure, and comply with the Data Privacy Act in handling them.
  • Serve arrival-window clients in queue order.
  • Return-consult recommendations go out in fixed wording, with no note from you. Clients can stop them. Do not use the site to send marketing.

7. Cancellations.

  • You may cancel a booking before it starts. The client gets a full refund, and you are not paid for that booking. After it has started, only our team can cancel it.
  • If a client cancels before the cutoff, they keep a credit for one rebooking with you; the rebooked time is paid at the original amount, whatever your price is then. If they don't use it within 60 days, it is forfeited to you. The 60 days are paused while your page is suspended.
  • If a client cancels after the cutoff, or doesn't show up, you are still paid.
  • If you close your account while clients hold unused credits with you, each is treated as a cancellation by you, and those clients get full refunds.
  • Our team may cancel a booking, with a full refund to the client or, where the circumstances warrant, without one; without a refund, you are still paid.

8. Earnings and payouts.

  • A booking is earned once its time has passed (for an arrival window, its end), or when its payment is forfeited.
  • Earnings are paid out no later than the 24th day of the following month, to the payout account on your page, with a statement listing each booking: what the client paid, any returning-client discount, the service fee, and your share. Your share is your fee in full; the service fee and processing fee stay with us.
  • We need your payout details and TIN before we can pay you. Until then, your earnings carry over to a later payout.
  • A booking refunded before its payout is sent comes out of that payout. You remain responsible for your own taxes on your earnings.

9. Suspension. We may suspend your page, for example while we look into a complaint. We may also suspend or close your page where we have reason to believe it is being used for an illegal act. The Illegal activity section of the Terms of Use (section 9) applies to professionals as it does to clients. We will email you the reason. A suspended page is off the site and out of search, and takes no bookings or rebookings; paid bookings go ahead.

10. Closing your account. You may close your account once you have no upcoming paid bookings and no earnings still to be paid out. See the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

11. Indemnity. You will answer for, and hold MyCalendar.ph harmless from, claims arising from your services, your page or your handling of clients' personal data.

12. Changes. We may update these terms with notice on the site or by email, and ask you to agree to them again. Fee changes apply only to bookings paid after they take effect.
